have other people experienced this — is it a known bug? is there a trick to get it to work?
I guess the stop line can’t work properly if it is crossed by a tie. Try to place the line right after the tied note:
Yeah I assumed it was the tie. But that seems like a bug that should be fixed… It would be fine if it only didn’t work on the tied note, but it actually doesn’t work at all: that part got shifted out in the rest of the flow, which is a bit dangerous. If you’re on a large score and using insert mode with larger blocks of music, you are very likely to have ties over the insert stop line…
