inserting and deleting multiple tuplets across staves at the same metric division

Dear users and developers,

When editing across staves at the same metric division, the result of inserting multiple tuplets and the result of deleting multiple tuplets are inconsistent.

  1. Inserting multiple tuplets across staves at the same metric place insert only one tuplet on the first note (of the topmost staff of selections; or of one randomly selected staff?).

  2. Deleting multiple tuplets across staves at the same metric place removes all tuplets. With the combination of “insert mode”, the contents in the tuplets remains and are appropriately shifted.

It will be productive if No. 1 also behaves similar to No. 2.

How do you think about it?
It would not often occur when engraving music, but it would occasionally happen when composing.

Multi stave caret entry only works for things that are stave specific. It’s not possible to tell Dorico what voice you want the caret to be in for each stave, so it’s not possible to input items that are voice-specific. Tuplets are voice-specific.

Thank you very much!
According to the rule, you are completely correct!
I totally agree with the logic, but it is inconvenient. OTL…
It is again the developer’s decision to invent a convenient method…
