Hi guys,
The Disable/Bypass buttons on inserts are working in quite unpredictable way in Cubase (no such problems in Studio One 6, Pro Tools 2022 or Ableton Live 11):
- on some VST3 plugins Bypass button is inactive
- some plugins have Bypass hidden
- sometime Bypass button don’t disable plugin processing fully, so Disable should be used to bypass an insert completely
- sometime when Disable button is pressed the sound doesn’t pass through the disabled insert, so the only way to hear a bypassed sound is to remove the insert
What’s wrong, am I missing something?
