Hi everyone
Fairly new to Cubase, can anyone tell me the difference between using the volume slider in the inspector window vs. using the main volume lane in the piano roll editor?
Should I be using both to control volume or should I only use one? Are there benefits to using one over the other?
Any thoughts would help

Do you use an Instrument Track or a MIDI Track?
The Volume in the Key Editor (MIDI CC7) is controlling it on the MIDI base. So this is the same, as the fader, for the MIDI track. In the Instrument track, you are controlling the Audio Return volume by the fader, not the MIDI volume.
