Install and use GA SE 5 and SE 6 at the same time possible?

Hi!

When I installed trial of Cubase 15 it also installed GA SE 6 replacing version SE 5.
Is it possible to install and use both SE 5 and SE 6 at the same time?

Since both having the same plug-in ID, it is not possible to run them at the same time.

Ok, thanks for the reply.

Maybe something to consider…a version suffix to plugin id making it possible?
As I can run Cubase in different version it could be good for backwards compatability?

It is more the other way around. Because we are using the same plug-in ID, backwards compatibility can be granted.

Ouch. So basically, if we are heavy GA5 users, we should refrain from installed GA6SE.

GA5 is not GA5SE, I have GA5 running together with GA6SE
