Install Cubase 13 Pro, but not the Libraries

Hey Everybody,
I just got a new computer (Mac Pro) and I need to download and install Cubase 13 Pro on it. I do not need to to re-download all of the Library content because I have all of the library content on a very fast external SSD drive (that I used on my Prior Mac). I have watched videos that shows how to move Cubase library content from one hard drive to another hard drive (on the same computer). My question is how do I download the Cubase Pro app only, and then be able to tell the new install of Cubase Pro on the new computer where all of the library content is?

I downloaded the app, then downloaded and installed the Library manger, and set the path to where the various soft synths are, but it says no libraries found. I did restart the program and the whole computer. Here is a screenshot.

I also went inside to one of the subfolders (like HALion Sonic SE Pro), and it still does not see it. See attached screenshot. Yes I restarted everything.

I think you need to register the libraries with the library manager. Do they appear if you double-click on the vstsound-Files located in the various folders shown in your screenshot?

No they do not.

Does anything happen if you double-click on a vstsound file? As the file extension is linked to the Library Manager, it should open and offer to register the library.

It is grayed out

I have had a nightmare with this too. Have to admit to re-downloading for mental health reasons. You know what AMAZES ME? Take a seat: I have been using cubase since the floppy disk version on my Atari ST 1024 (none of that 512 stuff! No Sir! A full megabyte for me!) These kind of problems just do not go away. An issue with File Hierarchies of content on fast SSD (M.2) has got me looking at posts from 2014 - 10 years ago, SAME questions; "Where does this go? why doesn’t it see my EL_Piano? Then: Where does REVerance blah go? Why can’t it find IR files? WHERE, HOW, WHERE??!
I’m 63, and here we are in another Century, A Quarter of a Century into a new CENTURY…And they STILL won’t respect their userbase to really help us with such BASIC FACTS of installing. IT’S BEEN 35 - THIRTYFUCKINGFIVE - Years.
So many peopleI know swapped because Cubase was Bloatware for so long. This is one remedial Company. Tuly Remedial. I have had a career and retired in the amount of time Steinberg HAVE NEVER given us a real secondary disk installation Summary and file hierarchy for painless (read: “working”) instant production.
4 weeks ago I bought the Ableton MPE Push 3, (due to GAS and to experience the vibrato - as I am contemporary classical) and am going through some some 101 video tutes, you know, just to see…maybe…because at my age, I need to relax a little.
OH GoD! Thank you for the opportunity to get this out there, from here in my shack in Australia. I am sorry It was / is you, and I can only go by looking up the linked help files presented when trying to …just/simply/only/ install a bit of Software. I hope you sort your issue out, the ‘helper/ manager’ apps are not great and can brutally lead you to a delete current content and re-download scenario with just one cli…NO! I have to stop! I hope you laughed as much as I am crying under the desk at this. :frowning: :sob:
Blessings! :index_pointing_at_the_viewer: such a gr8 Therapist. And I should know :vulcan_salute:
