Install cubase 8 update version over cubase 7 update version

I purchased and installed Cubase 7 update version over my existing cubase 6. However, upon installing I now had two versions on my system: 6 and 7, both functioning well. I don’t need version 6 so I removed it, 7 continued to function well.
Now I want to update to version 8, but I only want to purchase the Update version. Can I install update version over an existing update version, without having to go back and reinstall original Cubase 6 (full version)?

Hi,

In fact, you will download the Full installer anyway. There is no this kind of update, it’s a new application. This is the reason, why do you have two applications then.

So you will update just the licence.
