Install freezes on OS X 10.9.2

Hi

Trying to install Cubase Elements 8 from install disk on an Imac running OS X 10.9.2 with 4 GB RAM but it hangs on preparing to install. There’s no internet connection so not sure if this would be an issue? I select install local only rather than search for updates option

Hi,

Could you try to run Repair Disk Permission (new term is First Aid) from macOS Disk Utilities on your system drive, before you start the installation, please? Maybe some permissions are corrupted on your system?

Or maybe the DVD is scratched. Could you try to download the Full Installer and try to install from this?
