I downloaded the “Steinberg_Download_Assistant_1.6.2_Installer_win[1]” file but I cannot seem to find something on Win 8.1 that will open it. Double clicking does not find an appropriate application to open it.
Assistance required please.
Okay for anyone who is also running Windows on bootcamp on a Mac I needed to go to the Mac side first and download windows installer for halion Sonic 3 then go back to my windows side and open that download. Then it worked.
Make sure to enable the Windows option to show file extensions. The installer should have an .exe extension. Either the installer didn’t download correctly or something in your computer caused it to be renamed.
