Ive just installed cubase 15 pro and I got this error
“Yamaha omnivocal 1.0.6 (Beta). Installation failed due to an unknown error. The installer was successfully downloaded to the specified target folder. To launch the installer manually please double click the installer file”
anyone else get this ? Ive raised a support request but its anyone’s guess when it will be answered

I have the same problem. Even if I double click the installer file. Haven’t solved it yet.
Same here. Win 10, with the propper version and updates.
I went to the steinberg download directory and manually installed it, that worked. Never heard back from steinberg support
Just observation to assist bug hunters.
I assume one of the installer steps is to put the Vst and component plugin files in the correct directories. (On my mac System Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3)
You could see if the plugin file exists, It is called OminvocalBeta.vst3 on my Intel Mac.
There could be other files required beside just the plugin but I haven’t looked through the code for those.

Is there another installation running when you do that? What happens if you restart your machine, go to the installer in your downloads, and run it manually (double click the installer file)?
Im using Windows 11, this is my Steinberg download directory (I set it myself)
F:\Downloads\Steinberg\WIN64\Yamaha Omnivocal 1.0.6 (Beta)
extract this file
Yamaha_Omnivocal_1.0.6_Beta_Installer_win64.zip
right click setup.exe
run as administrator
and it installed OK for me
