Installed 10 Pro & Want To Uninstall Artist 6 - Advice Needed

I installed 10 pro and everything seems to be working well. What’s fascinating is that I can open every project that I started in Artist 6 and pick up where I left off. I have one where I did some additional recording in 10 Pro. Seems like all is well. Even my 3rd party VST instruments like Addictive Drums are working seamlessly! I am also getting the same voices from my Halion SE that came with Artists 6. I couldn’t be happier.

Thus, I don’t really need Artist 6 anymore. I’d like to uninstall it.

Here’s my questions:

Am I clear to uninstall Artist 6 without loosing anything as I use Pro 10? Does anyone see an issue or are things as good as they seem?

What must I do before uninstalling Artist 6? I don’t want or need both DAW’s. I want to focus fully on Pro 10.

Just use the Windows uninstaller. They are totally separate installations and you won’t hurt 10 by uninstalling 6. As with any big system change it is best to do an OS backup first (well it is really best to do regular system backups, cough, cough).

That said I’d leave 6 on your system, it doesn’t hurt anything by being there. And about 10 minutes after you do blow it away you will discover that you need it for something that won’t work in 10. I have versions 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, and 10.0 all currently installed.
