Installing cubase elements 14 upgrade from elements 12

I purchased E14 after trial period, but my soft license won’t register I guess. When I try to open, no license found message. I’m attempting to re-install E14, but have a feeling I’m missing something…. Any hints? I have registered the old e license, and E14 is not showing up in the download assistant…

Hi and welcome to the forum!

After purchasing E14 you received a Download Access Code. Did you already use it?
If not, just open your MySteinberg account and make sure to log in with your correct credentials. Do you see E14 here? If not, you can enter your Download Access Code right here.

Since E14 is already installed on your system that is all you got to do.

I don’t see an access code anywhere. Where would it be, and can I recover it anywhere?

When you purchased Cubase you must have received an email containing the DAC. I would suggest to check the Spam folder of the email account with which you have bought the product. This doesn’t necessarily have to be the email account that is associated with your Steinberg account.

Thanks Reco29, I’ll check, but I bet it’s long gone deleted from my spam, I empty often.

Maybe you can narrow it down to a specific time frame?
In case you have really deleted the mail containing the DAC you’d need to contact support. Here’s how to proceed:

Got lucky, found it in deleted. But now I have to re-install E14, I think… Thanks so much for your help!

You’re welcome!

No need to reinstall Cubase Elements. Just log into your MySteinberg account and redeem the DAC.
