Installing Cubasis 3 on a Chromebook

Hello,

I have downloaded the Cubasis 3 LE Demo and wish to purchase the full version from inside the demo’s shop, through Google play, using a Chromebook.

My Question is will I be able to complete the installation without needing download assistant, as I don’t have access to a PC or Mac.

Thanks for any help around this question.

Hi @Blair_Z,

Thank you for your message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum!

The content download for Cubasis takes place directly within the app via Google Play - there’s no need to use a desktop computer.

Best regards,
Lars

Thanks for the reply Lars.

Before I make my purchase I would also like to know if the same in-app installation applies to Iconica Sketch, Halion Sonic and the others that are in the Shop? Are they included in “content download”?

Also, does Lo-fi Piano require Halion? LF Piano shows up in My Steinberg (which just recently I encountered a problem logging in to, after changing the password twice?, I’m unsure what to do there) but there seemed to be no option to do anything with it, Or will I be able to use it when install Cubasis the full version?

Thanks again for any help.

Hi @Blair_Z,

Thank you for your message.

All in-app purchases for Cubasis on Android are downloaded directly within the app. There’s no need for a desktop computer or any additional software.

Best regards,
Lars
