i’ve been wondering how many instances of kontact 5 i can use. particularly when using konact as an instrument channel as opposed to a midi channel …there are so many instruments not that use kontact as a ’ mothership ’ i prefer r to have the indidual instrument so i can effect and tweak each instrument seppartatly. thanks
I can’t remember exactly but I THINK Kontakt can have up to 32 stereo outputs. So you could, in theory have up to 32 instruments in one instance of Kontakt all with their own mixer channels.
But, to answer your question, the number of instances of Kontakt you can have is really determined by your system’s ability to keep up.
