Instantaneous hammer on between 2 notes

Hi. I know to use the ornaments menu between 2 notes and use ho for hammer on. How do you get the first note to be instantaneous with the 2nd note? I want the 1st note to be at the same time as the 2nd one.

Perhaps you mean a grace note?

The only thing I am not sure of is how to determine the length of the grace note, It’s so fast. It is going to an eighth note
