[Solved: monday morning issue 
] I have a score where with a player that has bugle and trumpet 1. The piece start with 18 bar rests. The score show now both players but I will start with the first playing instrument: bugle. What do I wrong?

What’s the problem? Score starts with flugelhorn which comes in at bar 19 and switches to trumpet 1 at bar 41. I see no issues at all.
Score shows both instruments in write mode, but just 1 staff in engrave and print mode.
Isn’t that what you want?
You could show both instruments as a label in Layout Options
Don’t see any problem at all. When you are in Galley View, you will always see one stave for each and every instrument a player holds.
When you then switch to Page View, Dorico will do its magic for players that switch instruments.
@Craig_F @TonH sorry sorry sorry. Monday morning. I read trumpet 2 as trumpet 1. It works completely good.
