I will attach here a hopefully self-explanatory picture:
I would like the clarinet player to behave like the bass flute player, using the same staff when changing instrument and displaying the corresponding instrument change label.
However, I’m not able to make it happen.
I guarantee I didn’t touch anything in the settings. Do you have any suggestions on how to manage this?
We’ll need to see the project itself to say for sure what’s going on here. Have you added an extra staff to either the Eb clarinet or bass clarinet instrument at any point?
Indeed, I added an extra staff to the bass clarinet to make spectral multiphonics.
I have just tried inserting a new player with the same setup and as long as I don’t add new staves it displays the instrument change label as it should, but as soon as I add an extra staff it hides them.
Is there a solution to this? I really need to keep the extra staff on top in certain passages.
Unfortunately at present, no, there is no way to have both an instrument with extra staves and instrument changes.
