Instrument change warning and condensing

The previous system ends with condensed Clarinets 1 & 2 both having 3 bars of rests.
I would expect (or wish!) that the warning “2. to Bass Cl.” would appear at the end of the previous system, or at the end of the last entry of the 2 clarinets.
Is there an option for this to appear or how does one work around it? —hopefully not with a text frame since condensed staves cannot be selected.

No, there’s no way for Dorico to show this for you automatically. You could include a Shift+X text item in both the Clarinet 1 and Clarinet 2 instruments at the same position, which should allow it to appear in the condensed staff.
