Instrument filter overlay permanent remove

Hi all, is there a way to permanently hide the Instrument Filter overlay?

I never use it, and each time i open something i have to shut it off. Is there a permanent off switch?

In View Options (Ctrl+Shift+V), switch it off, and save as default:

Never noticed those View Options down at the bottom of that menu.
