Elaine Gould in Behind Bars recommends the use of roman numerals for sections and arabic numerals for individual players - the default is to use arabic numerals for sections. How can this be changed?

She also advises not using a secondary bracket to connect the Violin I and Violin II in an orchestral score since they are different sections. However, Dorico is automatically adding this secondary bracket. How can it be removed?

I’m afraid neither of these conventions are yet handled by Dorico, but we expect to be working more on staff labelling and bracketing/bracing very soon, so I would expect these situations to be handled in the near future. Thanks for your feedback.
