How can I have added a trumpet but it will not show up in the score?

Maybe Trumpet isn’t attached to the flow?

(select trumpet in the left pane, look for checkbox in flow pane underneath the music shown in your screenshot)

Hi @raaf, besides the suggestion above by @TonH, if you have Staff Visibility set to Hide Empty Staves… in Layout Options>Vertical Spacings, the empty trumpet staff will be hidden in Page view but will be visible (only) in Galley view.

Ok, I know I’m a fool. But what about this one… I added a trumpet to the score, and now I get this. A trumpet added to every instrument… Help

Select the trumpet player in the left panel, so it turns bright blue. Then untick the checkboxes in the right panel for the layouts in which you don’t want it to appear.

Select all the layouts on the right (except the Trump and Full Score) and uncheck the Trumpet on the left.

(Or do as @asherber suggests - the result is the same)
