I wonder how to solve the following situation: in my score I write for Horns using two players: one for regular playing (affected by transposition in the parts) and another one for noises since there the notation should correspond to the relative pitches in the score without any transposition. For this to work, the staff labels have to follow the player names (which, as far as I found in the previous addresses of this topic, doesn’t allow for the labels to be simplified in the middle of the group). Is there a way to make the staff labels in the score behave the same way they do for the pair of trumpets below? Or alternately set certain parts of the music to not being affected by transposition in the parts?
