Maybe I missed something before … but it looks like there is a new MIDI map generator in 7.5. Load something like Tremor or BFD3, then click on the drum map dialog. There is now a “Create Drum map from Instrument” option. I don’t remember that being there before. It works great with those VSTi that support exposing their mappings.
They explained this feature in the GA4SE introduction, great news that it works with other VSTis as well!
