My current project has parts for 3 horns. Sometimes I would like to condense all three horns into one staff, and sometimes I would just like to condense horns 1 & 3. If I set up a condensing group for horns 1 & 3, Dorico (5) does not allow me to put these horns in a second group that would include all three, and when I do set up a group for all three, Dorico adds horn 2 to the condensed line for 1 & 3. Is there any way in Dorico 5 to set up both of thse groups at once?
Do not setup groups in Layout Options. Use Condensing Changes. This way you are not locked into a fixed grouping.
