Integration analog lab V in cubase 14

Hello everyone, I’m new to this forum and I’d like to ask for your help. I just bought the Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 keyboard with the Analog Lab V software. This keyboard is properly connected to Cubase 14 and works perfectly with, for example, Hallion; no problems there. However, if I open an instrument track, I can’t open Analog Lab. The track remains blurred (see the screenshot). The VST3 plugin is correctly positioned in Program Files/Common Files. I’ve been asking Arturia for help for several weeks now, but they haven’t been able to provide a solution. Please help me before I lose my mind. Thank you in advance. Luc Skyrocker

Welcome here, @ladernieregoutte72 !

Two inquiries :

  • Could you make a screenshot of your Studio > VST Plug-in Manager window > VST Instruments panel (with all the columns and the Plug-in Information section, at the bottom of the window visible) ?
  • You should also have the Arturia Software Central installed (accessible via Windows Start > Arturia, unless, as bundled with the KeyLab, its installation is not mandatory, but I doubt it) : could you make also a screenshot of it ?

On my end, there is no issue with Analog Lab V and Cubase 14.0.41 (Windows 10 - 22H2), but it’s a rather old version (5.5.1), so…

Hello Cubic 13, thank you for your reply, Since I’m new to this forum, I have to send you the screenshots in several parts.

Hello,

you are aware that your Analog Lab is running as Demo, which may be expired now?

Hi, this is Analog 4 in demo mode.

Its Analog Pro is definitely active because it’s necessarily version V. I own the Collection 11 version.

The problem might not be with Cubase. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Analog Lab.
I’m using Cubase 15, but it worked with Cubase 14.

It’s also strange that the serial number is correctly registered with version V, and that it’s the demo version that’s on the homepage.

What I find weird is this part in the first screenshot:

the multiple exclamation marks usually mean that Cubase cannot find the plugin anymore.

Is this directly after you loaded the plugin on the instrument track? Or is this a saved project?

Hello Pascal, the topic isn’t about Analog Lab 4, which I haven’t bought, but about Analog Lab V, which is the final version bundled with KeyLab Essential 49.

I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Analog Lab V (or Pro), disabling and re-enabling it in the Arturia Software Center, but the problem persists. The VST3 plugin is indeed located in Program Files/Common Files.

Hi Of course that’s what I stated above, but it’s strange that you don’t have version V on your ASC D’artira homepage, I have Analog Play and Analog pro V, version 4 is among those to install…

And on the Arturia Forum, there are quite a few participants who could help you.

Hello Oldbigman, the topic isn’t about Analog Lab 4, which I haven’t bought, but about Analog Lab V, which is the final version bundled with KeyLab Essential 49.

Hello fese,The Analog Lab V. VST3 plugin is correctly installed in Program Files/Common Files

Here are the items on my PC, I’m using Windows 11.

I have the same issue on my PC with Analog Lab V, The plugin VST3 is at the same place :sad_but_relieved_face:

You didn’t really answer my questions… Do the exclamation marks in the VSTi field in the inspector appear right after you select “Analog Lab V”?
