Intel i5 6600 vs AMD FX 8370

I starting thinking about set new PC for Cubase (now I’m on used HP Z400 Xeon W3520, Velociraptor, 6GB ECC) and i wondering about Intel vs AMD in simillar price.
Intel has 4 core withot HT and 3.5GHZ, AMD has 8 cores on 4GHz.
I know that Intel’s cpu can be a little bit more faster for general purposes like gaming etc. but AMD has 8 cores and Cubase can work better on it. Or Not?

Additionally I want to Add:
32GB DDR3 NonECC CL 13 2400MHz
SSD 240GB
Cheep GPU ~50$ or less

Generally speaking, Intel CPUs are way more powerful, even with less cores. However, you should wait for the AMD Zen generation if you can wait 6 months or so.
