In Dorico 6 Pro, I’m running into intermittent problems trying to enter a piano pedal marking in the score. If I try a shift+P and type ped, nothing happens. If I open the Playing Techniques and click on the ped icon, it won’t light up and I get nothing. In fact, none of the keyboard techniques will light up until I get down to the sopra technique. They light up consistently and appear in the score. I found a work-around: if I click somewhere else in the score, then come back to the point I need the pedal and click there, it’ll work. And sometimes, everything works perfectly as it should. Like I said, it’s intermittent, changing from moment to moment. It’s exciting!
