I like to make use of the Super Clip function after I’ve done some edits within single tracks. I used to do this using internal Super Clip function in WL11 all the time, however this option seems to be missing with WL12. I only get the option to create an external sub-montage instead of an internal sub-montage. I’ve attached photos of WL11 and WL12 for reference! Have these moved or been removed etc?
WaveLab 12 only supports super-clips as external montage. It was becoming too complex to support the storage of a montage inside a montage, given the fact that a montage becomes more complex, version after version.
If you open a WaveLab 11 montage that contains internal sub-montages, they should be automatically converted to external montages.
