Hi, I have an Intro containing a bassline which also occurs in Chorus 1, 2 & 3. I keep editing the Intro bassline midi and then pasting it into all the Choruses. Can this tedious method be streamlined by having a “Master” region which I edit in one place and plays wherever I need it? Can the Arranger track help?
The Arranger Track is a good idea if you want to repeat a whole section of a song. It cannot be used per-track.
Try using Shared Copies. Drag the MIDI Part that you want to copy, then hold Alt + Shift before dropping it. Any edits that you make to the original MIDI Part will also be applied to the Shared Copy, and vice versa.
