Introduce Midi Recording modes that are in line with audio recording modes

Hi, midi tracks have lanes, just like audio tracks do. Lanes are often used for recording a couple of takes. The conceptual design for midi tracks never supported to work with midi this way conveniently, there is at least one mode missing: Allow to record new parts on new lanes for new takes and MUTE all lanes that have been recorded before automatically (just like audio tracks work). The existing modes for sure make sense for some situations, but THIS is a major omission that complicates some reasonable workflows.

Been asking for this for YEARS

Just an option make MIDI tracks/parts act like audio.

For example, cut a MIDI part, copy it, extend the beginning or end of the copy, we should still be able to see any MIDI contained in the original part, as for audio parts.

Is this still not possible in Cubase 13 Pro? Because this is one thing that drives me crazy about Cubase. I don’t record midi often, but when I do, it’s super frustrating.
