Did I miss the introduction of the MeToo button underneath each initial post in the main forum categories? It has been available in discourse for years but I haven’t seen it here in the forum until recently.

Haha, I had to actually read the name of that strange cherry shaped emoji with spaghetti underneath to understand its meaning: Confetti balls.
A thumbs down emoji would have been a nice addition, too. But keeping the focus on positive things might also be a good idea. And it aligns better with forum etiquette.

To be pedantic: You did misquote the button, though (space and capitalization).
So arguably in this context it’s not a hashtag or the name of a movement, but merely a (still) widely used English phrase consisting of two words.

… and we’re back to the “relevance of Linux” debate. This one is on me - I should have kept the Linux comment to myself. Hence, I won’t ask what any outdated or niche OS have to do with Linux…
BTW, I am glad that Steinberg has kept the amount of available emojis to a minimum. Otherwise, we would potentially see endless rows of different emojis lined up under each post. Others might disagree but that’s just not for me.

IMO this feels like a bodge alternative to the lack of automation on the voting system that’s in place. You want users to vote on features they deem important but they have to manually manage those votes because you won’t return them automatically despite post state?
