Inverse Drum Map Pitch List

Hi
I’m modifying a drum map and then will save as a different map.
In the pitch list in the left column is there a quick way to invert the list from top to bottom. ? So the highest in the column (C2 for example ) will become the very lowest in the list.

Hi,

No, this is not possible.

Thanks Martin, I’ve not that much to do anyway. You’ve saved me hours of trying to do something that is not possible.

I beg to differ:

Unless I’ve got the wrong end of the stick?

I think, @Martin.Jirsak and @Googly_Smythe are both kind of right:

  • You can not easily change the sort order in the Drum Map file itself
  • However, you can change the display order in the MIDI Drum Editor

I agree that you can’t drag and drop to re-arrange the notes in the map, but the question was about changing the sort order of the first column, which is possible.

I can’t see the editor and drum map in the same window.
Do i need to have groove Agent ?

You don’t need GA. I’ve tried this on a track with no instrument at all.
You can edit the drum map in the Drum Editor. You can then open the Map Editor to save any changes to a map file..
Only the In and Out notes can be edited.
You can’t sort in the Map Editor, only in the Drum Editor.
I’m getting confused just typing this!

How do I edit the map in the editor ?
I can only get to see one or the other

Just double-click the I-Note or the O-Note and enter the value you want.

Sorry, I didn’t explain myself.
I’ve just looked again at the top picture on the computer and can see where you meant.
Many Thanks for you help.
