Invert/rotate voicings

Is it possible to select and rotate a chord vertically?
I see there are tools to select chord members, and through a succession of [select bottom (or top) note then raise (or lower) an octave] operations this could be done…or is there a tool for this?

Do you mean invert a chord by flipping the bottom note up an octave, or similar?

If so, yes. Use Cmd-Opt-up/down to change the octave of a selected note, and the arrows alone to move between notes. Press Tab to change the selection to the entire chord.

There’s no function to automatically invert a chord, though.

Dorico has a suite of transformation tools - I can’t remember off the top of my head how this does or doesn’t work with chords, but here’s a starting point that should put you in the right direction

@dan_kreider @Lillie_Harris Thank you for your replies!
Yes, transformations, I’ve seen them, and am plotting how to script them to make this operation a one-click. It’s something that comes in handy when, after delivering a score, the client requests a transposition that puts instruments out of range - or maybe just to brighten or darken the texture. My go-to has been implode, rotate, re-explode when sections are involved.
