I wanted to add a MIDI command to Key Command for Hide/Show item. It excepted the input from my MIDI keyboard (tried CC 20 and sustain pedal) but does not trigger the command. I can assign a key command from my BT qwerty. But would rather not rely on having a BT qwerty with me. It would be great to have some way so setup some user Ipad touch spots to assign some of my favorite unreachable commands, so I won’t need any qwerty or midi keyboard.
We think this ought to work. Could you see whether you could assign your bluetooth MIDI key to something like the “About” dialog? (That’s a good test as it’s not mode-specific and doesn’t conflict with anything else.)
