How to make a irregular pickup (dotted eight note)?
When inserting a time signature, I only can make pickup bars with predefined lenghts.

Try clicking the first note or rest in the bar, press Shift+M, and type “4/4, 0.75”.

What time signature are you after? You will need to enter the decimal value of a dotted eighth relative to the denominator of your time signature. Eg. “6/8, 1.5” or “12/16, 3”
