A friend of mine asked me if I could write this feature in Dorico.(cf attached file)
I tried, writingg a quintuplet on the first voice and a rest quintuplet in the second voice. Coming back to the last semi-quaver from py rest quintuplet, I tried to write a triolet… but it crashes and writes eather two crotchets or even one crotchet.
Is there a way of writing it in Dorico?
Yes, but you’ll need to add the same quintuplet in the down-stem voice as you have in the up-stem voice. You can hide the rests in the down-stem voice using Edit > Remove Rests and hide the tuplet bracket itself via Properties.
