Hi everyone. I’m still running Dorico 5, but I’m thinking about upgrading to Dorico 6 so that I can take advantage of the Cantai plug-in. Is the current version of Dorico 6 still compatible with the discontinued Noteperformer Playback Engines? Thanks in advance.

yes – works exactly the same way as any other Dorico version. It’s the only real use I still have for NotePerfomer (other than testing purposes)
My Spitfire, Synchron Prime and Berlin Free (and Ben Wiggy’s GPO 5) engines all work very well with Dorico 6 and Noteperformer 5.0- even when using John’s NP/Cantai pt. Also, Spitfire and VSL gave us permission to use their libraries with NP 5.0.
