Is Dorico 6 suddenly exporting .wav files as 48 kHZ rather than 44.1 kHZ?

I had not had any issues in the past when getting audio files of my compositions uploaded to certain web sites. But after exporting my latest work in Dorico to .wav, uploads failed and it was because the exports were creating audio files at 48 kHz rather than the previous 44.1 kHz. Has something changed? I was able to use Fission to convert the Dorico-created .wav file again to .wav (Fission defaults to 44.1 kHz) without any audio loss during the second encoding, but I’m wondering if there is a setting that got changed when I updated to the latest version of Dorico (6.1.10.6048) on my MacBook Air. Thanks!

I just noticed under Preferences:Play that the output was set to 48 kHz. I had never changed that, so I wonder if it was something that crept in during an update. Anyway, the human ear cannot tell the difference between 44.1 and 48 kHz, but many audio sites will not accept higher frequency audio, interestingly.

Cubase used to reset that when I would use it, so I finally set both Dorico and Cubase to 48K.

I wonder if that’s the reason I once found Dorico had mysteriously reset to 48khz? Sounds more than likely.
