Is freeze an alternative to batch export in Cubase Artist

So because one member manages to force Steinberg to jerk their knee over a feature that barely any member has even asked for and yet the vast majority in their wisdom time and again have requested a “one click render” function that would supersede instrument freeze altogether, you want to roll your eyes.

The situation is most likely that all you will ever get is FAQ recognition, so therefore you can take heart in that answer.

You will never be able to move frozen parts.

Cheers

Although I’d still rather hit my head against a brick wall.

That’s why you need to change your signature now you’ve finally been told the score.

ADD TO FOE LIST!!! (said in my most Burninatinghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gz1DIIxmEE StrongBad voice)

Another one bites the dust…

It’s all irrelevant for stems anyway - unless frozen audio edits have been re-written again in C6 - because frozen audio parts don’t make contiguous files for non-contiguous midi events. It doesn’t render the spaces so many of the audio clips would be unusable in the project anyway without chopping, realigning and editing, even if they did appear in the pool.

Remember when freezing got faster? This is apparently why.
