Is it possible to edit different voices recorded by one microphone?

Hello! If I record a polyphonic song with only one microphone, can I edit voices separately in Cubase? For example, if the voice of a person who stood near the microphone was recorded more distinctly and other voices were not so or vice versa, is it possible to correct it so all voices sound equal?

I think the resident free version of the SpectraLayers (audio - extensions) extension can unmix vocals only, but it might just strip out all of them. Maybe play around with the setting on that and it may be that you can use the sensitivity to capture the louder voice?

SL Pro would be better for this.

Thank you, Clothsnake. We will try SpectraLayers.

Melodyne will let you edit polyphonic voices independently. Last I checked their trial version was pretty unrestricted.
