Is it possible to empty/cancel the keypress stack?

I was adjusting some staff spacing and instead of delivering just a couple of nudges my finger was accidentally sitting on an arrow key for some time. Not awfully long, but enough to populate the stack with lots and lots of keypress events. I couldn’t do anything but watch Dorico push the staves closer and closer, getting slower and slower and eventually killing itself.

I started wondering if there’s a way to cancel or empty the stack before it has finished its business. In my example I had several seconds to do something, but I couldn’t. I’m sure it’s more computer- (Win11) than Dorico-related, but are there anything one could do to abort such a mission?

I’m afraid there’s no way to do this: once Dorico has received the commands and has them queued up, there’s no way to interrupt them.
