Is it possible to have a key command to open a plugin in a certain track?

I have a tuner plugin on my stereo in track, accessing it directly with a shortcut (without having to always select the stereo in track) would be incredible in term of workflow, is it possible to do it ? (I’m on Cubase 14 btw)

“Unfortunately, Cubase does not have a native Key Command to directly load a specific plugin into a slot. You can only open the ‘Insert’ selector via key commands, or you have to work with Track Presets / FX Chain Presets. Many professionals use 3rd party tools like Stream Deck or AutoHotKey to macro this, or they keep the plugin pre-loaded in ‘Bypass’ within their template.” cheers

This works with a PLE

Select the stereo out track and select the insert where your plugin is located.

If this worked in Control Room it would be of great help, too.

So it doesn’t?

Not that I am aware of at least. Control Room is an entity on its own outside the project’s tracks/channels.
There are quite a few things I would like to adress in CR via key command - it’s not possible, yet.
