Hi,

Every MIDI Port consist of 16 MIDI Channels (in maximum). If you want to use more MIDI Channels, you have to use multiple MIDI Ports. Virtual Instruments like HALion, NI Kontakt, Vienna Ensemble can operate more than 16 MIDI Channels. But as I said, it’s handled via multiple MIDI Ports. For example HALion 5 Port A, Port B, Port C and Port D.
