Is it possible to separate the notes?

Hello. Is it possible to separate doubled notes? The quarter note and eighth note on the fourth beat are combined; can they be separated? Thank you.

Hi,

You can select this chord, Filter > Upstem Voice 1[1]. Then in Engrave Mode, Properties Panel, set the Voice Column Index to 1:

Or if this is what you want:

then you just have to remove the D from the downstem voice.

  1. Or if you click the upstem, you can select only the D in upstem voice, but it might be easier to use the filter. ↩︎

I hadn’t thought of removing notes. I only intended to separate the D note into a quarter note and an eighth note. However, as you explained, it seems correct to remove the quarter note D rather than separate them.
