Hi, I have a section of music where my 4th trumpet part has the lead for about 8 measures. This creates a visual nightmare with crossing vloces/beams within the condensed staves. Can one uncondense a section?

Could you try to insert a Manual Condensing Change in Engrave Mode and change the arrangement of the voices (stems)? Also, what about shifting Trumpets 1-3 to upper staff and leaving lower staff for Trumpet 4 (also in Manual Condensing Change)?
Yes, you can create a ‘condensing change’ to turn off condensing at a particular place.
But you might not need to - it’s possible to configure the condensing rules to prevent condensing if there is pitch-crossing.
