As I am travelling a lot with my notebook and want to make a bit of music - and fear that I might lose or break my USB-Dongle - I thought if it may be possible to use C11 Elements instead without using the dongle?
If you have a separate Cubase Elements license, then yes. But Cubase Elements is not covered by your Cubase Pro license.

Ok thanks! … I thought it might be somehow possible to get an Elements soft-license when you own Cubase Pro because you can use Elements with the USB-dongle Pro-license 
So it seems like I just have to pay attention to the dongle or buy an additional Elements License (or just wait till Steinberg changes its license-system to a non-dongle-version…)
