Is it possible to use external sounds on iPad?

Hello! I’m wondering if it’s possible to set a player’s instrument to an external sound (on iPad)? I guess I’d like to turn off the audio engine and go MIDI only. I can’t seem to change the routing of a track to anything but microsonic, though. Is it right under my nose and I’m just missing it? I wasn’t able to find anything by searching the forum, either.

At the moment Dorico for iPad doesn’t allow you to output via MIDI, but it’s something we plan to add in future.

Any updates on the feature request?

With the subscription can we have external Vst’s I currently only have Iconica that doesn’t have any pianos in it
