Short story: I’d like to know if the total plug-in delay compensation is reported in the project.
I assume it would be the sum of the longest insert chain, as summed by the pdc of the indiviudal plugs (not the number of plugs), in any of the tracks. Correct?
But I’d like to know if there is a more straightforward way to find that value.
Why? I spent some time trying to figure out how to set up my External Instruments through VSTConnections, but then realized the ‘syncing’ was only good for a specific level of pdc (I think?). So, if I changed the total pdc by changing plug-ins, the sync would be lost.
