When in Print mode, there are some tokens for Filename Options. ($f ; $t ; $l …)
Is there a specific token for flowTitle?
Thanks
No, there isn’t: all of the available filename recipe ingredients are shown in the dialog.
Thanks Daniel.
I’d like to tag this one as a feature request.
In my songbook project, each flow is an independent song, and I want to save each song as a PDF file. Without a token for flows, I need to do it manually. It’s a bit tedious work.
Is creating a separate layout for each song not an option? Then you can use the layout name, if you make it the same as the flow title.
Hi Lillie,
Yes, it solves the printing flow issue in an elegant way.
I really need to investigate it further, as this is a different way of working.
I’m working now with just one full score layout.
I’ll give it a try.
thanks very much for the tip.
I’ll also investigate Lillie’s suggestion, but I was really in need of flowtitle token in a recent large scale project. Because of its absence I had to use another specialist app to batch rename files.
So please can I add a vote for this feature? Even if there may be a workaround. It can’t be difficult to implement
Yes, it would be wonderful for me too if you could choose a flowname in the filename options for printing. Please make it possible. Thanks
Hi, I’d love to see a flowtitle token if possible also. I create compositions and arrangements as a series of sketches and flows works very well for me in keeping this all organised within the one project. A flowtitle token in the filename recipe would be very useful for me. Cheers.
Another vote here for the ability to add the flow name to the filename recipe! Esp. since it is possible to select individual flows for printing/export (another very good feature).
Would be useful for a theater project I’m working on with many individual songs.
This would be a great addition, thanks!
