I’d like a Nuage Lite. I was at the Yamaha booth at AES in NYC this fall and saw a live demo of the full blow Nuage. It is amazing. Total overkill for many small studio folks. If Yammy came out with a slimmed down (and less expensive) version, like a Nuage Lite - it would be awesome.
Maybe somebody can talk me off of the ledge, but I’d hesitate to buy an Avid device for use with a Steinberg product. I’m not comfortable support would be forthcoming.
The Nucleus looks interesting, but I (and many others) would have no need for the preamps. Also, that is pricey for what it does. Erik - do you like the Nucleus?
The Focusrite Control is a rebranded Audient mixer. Definitely a lot more than a control surface.
X-touch - I’d be interested in getting people’s feedback on how they like that. Seems like a slimmed down Mackie.
